Arrived Durness, about two and a half hours ago. Bode insistent we go straight to the site while he ran tests on the stone. Nothing conclusive as yet.

Likely heading to St David's in the morning before returning to New London. Our Lord will wish an update at Court.


(Interesting to note that when things go wrong, many who might otherwise have sneered default to their previous wont - looking for someone to hide behind, doubtless, but nonetheless amusing to watch.)


Now to the apparently impossible task of finding a decent meal in this wasteland.

Of course they do. When push comes to shove, they know you are still higher in Our Lord's regard than they are, even if He chooses to give others a chance. Only the short-sighted think otherwise.

Have they given you a comfortable room, at least? And does Bode have any theories as to what went wrong?

It's a room. Don't know that I'd go as far as call it 'comfortable.'

Currently he's hoping to rise before dawn to check the settings on the menhir, on the theory that it's misaligned.

Not convinced he's not simply making excuses.
