My apologies regarding the books for February, sir. There is a perplexing item in one of the vendor invoices--Garrard's. It is quite shockingly overbudget, and I have requested additional backup, simply to doublecheck that it wasn't an error on their part before finishing the accounting. I received the additional information I requested by owl this morning and will have the books for you within the hour. You will see the explanatory note by the initials 'MD.'
(I had no idea emerald earrings were quite so expensive.)
With regard to the note to Miss Robins: it merely offered formal condolences with no personal amendation whatsoever and was signed 'sincere regards, (Mr) Lucius Malfoy.' If Miss Robins attributes sentimental meaning to that message, then I must say that she has quite a vivid imagination.
All arrangments are in place and have been doublechecked for Wednesday.
I have heard from Mr Rosier's office and have the tentative dates added to your planner (with regard to myself and Bill, of course discretion will be observed. On both ends.)
Regarding the scheduling changes: done.
