Have either of you spoken with Bella? Received a message from her - cryptic, but in her usual direct tone - that she will join us late this evening and has 'news' for us.

Presumably that relates to who else besides Higgs may be implicated in -

Had the same message from Bella. Nothing more.

Just finished meeting with Gauge. Much to report re. manoeuvring at mid-admin levels. Rumours spreading, posturing and worse well underway. Malfeasance Elimination have their hands full, tracking it all. No chance of stopping it, but Gauge = good source. (Also signif: Montague's in this unit.)

Speaking of leaks. Have just put Crispin in charge of Private Message monitoring. Told him he could borrow Weasley (P, not B) and expected that Ned would be willing to help as well. Sent Plympton, Shelby, &c., down to Transportation (Floo and Portkeys). Might as well task them to ensure there are no breaches in the meantime.
