Have you heard anything about an inquiry against Weasley for his violation of the Cardinal Curse licence? Was at a meeting late this morning and Thicknesse mentioned putting the hearing on the docket once Hogwarts has let out for summer holidays.

The Governors could (I believe, should) recommend that he be ratified in his usage and retroactively given permission to use the Imperius. Owing to the circumstances. Agreed?

There is still the matter of the licencing fees; obviously, the family cannot be expected to pay and the Governors probably ought not as a matter of precedent. Rod, as he was acting on behalf of Hydra, thought you might be willing to sponsor the boy?

I quite agree. I could likely arrange to have the licensing fee waived if Mr Lestrange would prefer not to get involved.

How is Raz? Any change?

Still in stasis, but otherwise stable. The healers say that when the curse begins to leave his system, the statis should subside on its own.

How is Narcissa?

He's lucky the curse effect can be neutralised in stasis. Though it can take quite a long time, I have heard, for the benefit to show.

Narcissa is much improved over the last week. I daresay she is almost back to herself. She did declare herself too young to be a grand-aunt, though I note that did not deter her from insisting on seeking out Mrs Ponds and her new addition. Cannot complain, as her exposure seems to have restored the colour to what had been decidedly wan cheeks.

Know she did appreciate Bella's words of reassurance but am convinced the only thing that will really set her at ease is hearing that Barty has caught the bastards - all of them - responsible.
