Trust me, need no reminders that others of us may be in danger. Recall that I was on their list as well (nothing new but suddenly they seem to be ... effective).

There's no possibility that it wasn't him? He had his wand? His other affects?

I didn't get a look at his wand. He was killed just as he arrived, no chance to draw his wand or defend himself in any way. I assume Yaxley's taken a look at it, you might owl him since he's probably a bit too distracted to reply by journal.

I saw the body, after. He was -- come to think of it, I didn't see his wand-holster. Perhaps he dressed in rather a hurry.

Possibly. It's also possible he set aside some of his more distinctive accoutrements depending on his current mission.

I've been contacted by Hopkirk for a departmental meeting at MLE. Apparently for the moment they've decided to treat the threat as a general one.
