I got an owl at dinner, along with my own owl carrying the evening paper's announcement. But they did send one, at least, so there's that. And I really am looking forward to seeing Ewan. I've decided that I am going to be the sort of older sister who will thoroughly spoil him and whisk him away to London for adventures as soon as he's old enough to properly enjoy it.

I'm doing just fine -- I suppose the Yule Ball was so brilliant that everything after that has felt like a bit of a lull, if that makes any sense. But I'm looking forward to the start of next term, and I've been getting plenty of good exercise and spending a lot of time with friends. It's so much nicer going for walks and things this term than last.

I'm so glad you liked your present. Yours was absolutely lovely, and I've already hung it over my bed. And the hair clips are beautiful! I wish I could've worn them for the ball, but I'll be sure to wear them next year at your Christmas party. I'm ever so glad I got the chance to see you and Aunt Narcissa at the ball.
