I'm perfectly fine. Please do reassure Mother. I didn't really see much of what made the creature lash out, so I can't provide a clear report on that.
It is true that Weasley ran in front of the hippogriff and distracted it. I'm thankful, but...it's not as if he did it to save me. Believe me, I know he'd never do that, as he's made perfectly clear only just recently. Pansy was screaming and he just reacted the way a big Gryffindor like him would. Only now Pansy's treating him like a hero, and even Daphne Greengrass and some other people seem impressed.

What am I to do, given the situation? Do I extend thanks?
